Networking Dinner With Alexandra Stoddard

Alexandra collageYou’ve seen her books on every coffee table and front porch of well-lived homes. Her philosophies have shaped entire families and communities, and she has been one of my biggest influences.

Alexandra Stoddard will be my guest speaker on Thursday, June 18th, and I could not think of a more powerful and special way to celebrate the 4th anniversary of this networking series.

An interior designer by training who grew into one of America’s top design professionals, Alexandra encouraged homeowners to create spaces where they could thrive. She went on to become a best-selling author and lecturer on personal happiness in contemporary living.

I met Alexandra for the first time in 1994 when she spoke at an event in New York City.  I had an intense job in the political world and looking back, I wonder how I thrived  at all.

This evening resonated with me, listening to Alexandra’s message of happiness and inspiration.

After many years of using her quotes, I decided it was time to write to Alexandra and let her know what she meant to me.  She invited me to join her at an event last May in Connecticut and it was there that I asked  if she would be my guest some day.  She said YES!

Twenty-one years after our first meeting and a few blocks from where that event took place, I will welcome this important messenger in my life to my dinner where I know she will inspire us all with insights on how to create personal happiness and say YES!

Tickets will go very fast so don’t wait.

An evening with dinner, networking and inspiration.
