Jeanne M. Stafford’s Networking Dinner with Ben Wolff

One of the immeasurable benefits of my membership in the National Speakers Association has been getting to know Ben Wolff.  It’s been a powerful lesson to watch him lead as President of our New York City Chapter and more so to have benefitted from his counsel on many of the nuances of leadership as I prepare to be President of the same chapter next year.

Ben and I were talking about my dinner and he asked me to envision him playing the cello while speaking as guests surround him. At this very special event, Ben Wolff will lead an immersive experience through the music of his cello and the power of his words in his presentation: the Art of Listening. Sounds divine, right?

As a speaker, Ben has delivered his innovative programs for companies and organizations such as Cisco, Ingram Micro, the Center for Collaborative Organizations, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, the Lean Product and Process Development Exchange, NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Williams College, Rockefeller University, and Harvard University.

In one of his most recent columns for Forbes where he is a featured business contributor, he shares that “Innovation only happens when fresh thinking is connected to deep expertise.” When I read what Ben writes I learn how I can improve the way I listen and I’m reminded that there are so many beautiful ways to re-tell a story I have listened to. Please join me for a very special evening that will feel more like a dinner concert meets a business master workshop.
