The Mug of Momentum


Grab your favorite mug and assemble the goodies below.

 

I/2 lemon – squeeze out the juice and  leave the rind
1 cinnamon stick (I ordered a large, inexpensive bag from Amazon)
1/2 teaspoon (or more) of Turmeric – use fresh root or organic Turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon (or more) of Ginger – it’s easy to find fresh!
Honey you LOVE – at least a tablespoon!
Mint leaves — as many as you want.

 

Pour boiling water over the ingredients and let them simmer.  If you want to really treat yourself, lean over the mug while the concoction steeps, drape a  towel over your head and breathe it in. Then, drink up and ENJOY!
